"Be kind. It's that simple." 

On September 4, Jodi Kleibel, a kindergarten teacher in the West Bend School District for 29 years, passed away from cancer. Jodi touched the lives of countless children, both in her classes and others at McLane Elementary because she was such a genuine and caring person. She truly had a gift for making children feel good about themselves and for showing them boundless attention and love. In a touching testament to Jodi's impact, hundreds of parents and former students have reached out throw social media or phone to express how much she meant to them. The West Bend School District was very lucky to have her as a teacher, colleague, and friend.
