At West Bend East and West Bend West High Schools students are able to continue their passion for the performing arts. Students receive music instruction daily throughout the school year. Multiple performance groups exist to meet the needs of each student during their four years in high school.
Band
In BAND, students learn how to play a brass, woodwind, or percussion instrument. Students learn how to read music and perform in a large group, as well as individually.
Band students have a variety of performance venues. Once students have received one year of musical training, they can participate in Solo and Ensemble Festival, jazz/rock ensemble, and pep band. In high school they can choose to be involved in Jazz Ensemble, Brass Band, Brass, Wind, and Fire, Chamber Music Groups, Football Pep Band, Pit Band for musicals, and graduation band. All bands have the opportunity to perform for their community at such events like the University of Wisconsin—Washington County Arts Festival, Families for Families, and the Washington County Humane Society.
Choir

Choral students are provided a variety of performance opportunities. In elementary and middle school, those include Carol Club, GLEE, show choir, USO show, solo/ensemble, honors choir and a musical. In high school, students can choose to participate in the madrigal dinner, madrigal singers, hand bell choir, honors choir, solo/ensemble and the musical. Students at all levels have the opportunity to work with guest clinicians, perform at seasonal school events and diverse community appearances.
Orchestra
