Enrollment Information 

Summer school is open to all students who are residents of the West Bend School District attendance area and those currently attending via open enrollment. This includes students who attend a parochial or home school. Follow the directions below for the GROUP that your student belongs to.

  • Group 1: Student(s) currently attending the West Bend School District AND students (parochial, homeschool, or open enrolled out) who attended summer school in the summer of 2023.
    • Complete the enrollment verification process in Skyward Family Access.
  • Group 2: Students who do not currently attend school in the West Bend School District, but reside in the West Bend School District attendance area. (parochial, homeschool, or open enrolled out during the school year).
  •  For assistance with Summer School enrollment, contact the West Bend School District Registrar at 262-306-2612.

Registration Instructions 

All Summer School participants must be enrolled with the district before they can register for classes. (See directions above.) 

Registration for 2024 Summer School opens for students in grades 8-12 on Monday, March 11th at 8:00 am. Families will need to log in to their Skyward Family Access account to complete registration and choose classes.

Students are welcome and encouraged to discuss their summer school course selections with their school counselor.

 

Registration for students in grades 4K-7 opens on Monday, March 18th at 8:00 am. Families will need to log in to their Skyward Family Access account to complete registration and choose classes. You will complete a separate registration for each child. Students should be registered based on the grade they are CURRENTLY in!

 

You can retrieve your Skyward password by clicking the Forgot Login/Password? link on the login screen. If you need additional assistance with your Skyward account, contact Kim Marshall, kmarshall@wbsd-schools.org, 262-335-8305.

Special Notes:

  • As students register for classes, class size is monitored closely. Low enrollment may result in a class being canceled or taught in a different format. Families will be contacted as early as possible if a class is canceled or the format is changed. 
  • Classes for students in grades K-7, and High School Physical Education are first come first served. Course options will be updated in the course guide when the class capacity has been reached.

Bus Transportation 

Transportation

Grades 4K-7

  • Transportation is available to summer school before the 1st class session and back home after the 3rd class session.
  • Route information, including pick up and drop off times is available HERE.
  • Students who intend to ride the bus must select their bus route during registration in Skyward. 
  • Drivers will have rosters of registered riders. This includes students riding from a wrap-around care program.

Grades 8-12

  • Transportation is available to summer school before the 1st class session and back home after the 2nd class session.
  • Route information, including pick up and drop off times can be found HERE
  • Registration for high school bussing is completed via a Google form found HERE.

  • Drop-off begins at 7:30
  • Period 1: 7:50-8:50
  • Period 2 8:55-10:10 (Snack 9:55-10:10)
  • Recess 10:10-10:25
  • Period 3 10:30-11:30
  • Student Pickup begins at 11:30.
    • Students must be picked up by 11:45
  • Busses depart at ~11:45 pm

  • Period 3 10:50-11:55
  • Student Pick Up begins at 11:55
    • Students must be picked up by 12:15.
