Students at Silverbrook Intermediate School begin the transition from elementary school to middle school, and ultimately high school.

At our school, we have blended the best of both elementary and middle school to prepare our 717 fifth and sixth graders to succeed in school and in life.

Empowering ALL students to be successful learners. 

Our Details

For the majority of their day, students are placed in houses of two or three teachers. There, they learn with the same group of peers, similar to elementary school.

Yet, the intermediate school structure also allows them to take a world language and participate in choir, band, or orchestra, which can be one or two years earlier than most other school districts.

Our Performance

For the 2022-2023 school year, Silverbrook Intermediate received an Exceeds Expectations rating and a 76.4 score on the Wisconsin DPI Report Card. In November 2023, U.S. News & World Report ranked Silverbrook at #65 among all middle schools in the state of Wisconsin. Review the ranking.
