To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 at athletic competitions of the West Bend East Suns and West Bend West Spartans, the following spectator guidelines for fall 2020 athletics were established on September 11, 2020.

For outdoor events, physical distancing is required and masks are strongly encouraged. For indoor events, physical distancing and masks are required.

Dance, Football, Soccer, and Volleyball

  • Two spectator passes will be distributed to each student-athlete.
    • The spectator pass is good for only one event, i.e. the JV2 game/match, or JV1 game/match, or Varsity game/match.
  • Each pass will admit one immediate family member for both home and away competitions.
    • Immediate family is defined as parents, guardians, grandparents, and siblings.
    • Only spectators who are immediate family may use the passes.
  • Please leave the gym or field immediately after the event attended.
  • Schools will do their best to livestream competitions and performances.

Swimming and Diving

  • Due to the size of the West Bend High Schools natatorium, no spectators will be allowed at swim/dive meets. Our focus is providing physically distanced space to our athletes.
  • We will livestream all of our home swim/dive competitions.
  • We will revisit these guidelines throughout the season as pandemic conditions change.

Cross Country, Golf, and Tennis

  • Spectators will be limited to immediate family.
    • Immediate family is defined as parents, guardians, grandparents, and siblings.
    • Only spectators who are immediate family may use the passes.
  • No passes are needed.

Important Notes

  • Venue size and current health trends permit other host schools to restrict attendance further if needed.
    • These guidelines only apply to North Shore Conference competitions.
    • East and West athletic departments will communicate away competition guidelines to coaches and families.
    • Non-conference event guidelines will be determined and communicated by the East and West athletic departments.
  • No admission will be charged at any event.
  • North Shore Conference athletic directors will meet weekly and determine if revisions are needed.
  • Spectators must follow all guidelines listed in this document and any additional guidelines given by a host school.
  • For outdoor events, physical distancing is required and masks are strongly encouraged.
  • For indoor events, physical distancing and masks are required.
