At McLane Elementary, along with a staff that truly appreciates the diversity within our student body,
our families are dedicated partners in their child’s learning. They embrace that being a McTiger is as
simple as saying “Little Paws make Big Impressions." Walking through the halls of the historic McLane,
you will find and feel a learning environment that is safe and welcoming.

Our Performance

In November 2025, U.S. News & World Report ranked McLane in the top 3% of all elementary schools in Wisconsin.

Our Details

The enrollment of McLane Elementary is 339 students. We have 24 teachers, which includes
art, music, and physical education teachers. Our students have access to a number of other
professionals such as a school psychologist, counselor, talented and gifted teacher, ELA and math interventionists, English Language Learning teacher, and speech therapist. Please contact the

Our Community

McLane Elementary, like all the elementary schools in the West Bend School District, is a neighborhood
school. We are located on top of a hill on Chestnut Street in the middle of West Bend. After much
fundraising by our PTO, new playground equipment was installed in fall 2022. Review the
