Winter Guard:  (Color Guard is a corequisite)  Expand your skills on rifle, flag and sabers. Learn the Winter Guard Show and participate at weekend competitions.  Attendance is essential. (Wednesdays & Sundays Sept.-May)

***Winter Guard is allowed a limited number of participants!! The first 24 to turn in the needed forms (Color Guard AND Winter Guard), $50, grade report, club/community contract, & paragraph will be on the team!***

If you're interested in joining the West Bend Scholastic Cadets Winter Guard, in addition to participating in the parades/performances listed on the Color Guard form, you'll need to attend Sunday rehearsals from 12:30-5:30pm from September 25th-March 19th to learn and perfect the Winter Guard competitive show.

Enchantment in the Park set-up is Saturday, October 15th from 8am-Noon with sub/pizza lunch provided.

Winter Guard also rehearses on Wednesdays from 3:15-5pm at Silverbrook Intermediate School unless otherwise noted. Other rehearsal dates will be provided by coaches.

Saturday, January 28th - Algonquin, IL

Saturday, February 19th - Schaumburg, IL

Saturday, March 11th - Arlington Heights/Hersey HS, IL

Saturday, March 18th - Channahon, IL (Minooka HS)

Saturday, April 1st - Tinley Park, IL (Championships held on 4/2)

Please check your schedules very carefully and sign up for the WB Winter Guard ONLY if you're able to commit your time to the team. Practices, performances, and competitions are mandatory. This includes extra performances such as parades, assemblies, talent show, Regner Fest, and Washington County Fair.

Other Potential Costs:

• Transportation/bus fees (based on previous years) are approximately $30/show in Illinois which includes the show entrance fees.

Winter Guard Families will also be volunteering at Enchantment in the Park, Regner Fest, and Washington County Fair in order to raise funds for show props, tarps, and equipment.
